Treatment Modalities

At Radiance Wellness, we use a variety of treatment modalities that are effective, safe and will keep you the most comfortable.

Acupuncture is a system of healing with more than 3,000 years of history. Acupuncture works with your body’s vital energy, or “qi”, in order to bring it into balance. It involves placing hair size needles into specific points on the body. We use only sterile, disposable needles.

Herbal Medicine

Many internal conditions benefit from the use of Chinese herbs in conjunction with acupuncture and nutrition. These herbal remedies are formulated based on your specific diagnosis and can often significantly speed up healing time. Compared to many Western pharmaceutical drugs, Chinese herbs are relatively inexpensive and safe to use with few, if any, side effects.

Food is thy medicine and medicine is thy food. –Hippocrates East Asian medicine emphasizes a diet that is right for each individual, creating a balance that is unique to your constitution. We go back to the basics, incorporating foods that will nourish and fuel your body for your everyday life. We make sustainable lifestyle changes, not temporary dieting.

Everything in the Universe vibrates, from the smallest particle, to the planets in our solar system, to the billions of stars in the Milky Way Galaxy, creating patterns of geometric waveforms, frequencies, musical intervals, and sounds. Acutonics is an effective non-invasive methodology works with vibratory energy created through sound.

Shonishin is a needle-free technique used with children and needle-sensitive people. It is similar to acupressure and massage. Since children change rapidly, this technique assists their natural energy to correct imbalances and help them heal quickly. It can be used for physical ailments, as well as emotional and behavioral conditions.
